The 2024 MO APRN Conference is a virtual, on-demand activity. The conference is designed for advanced practice nurses recognized as nurse practitioners and clinical nurse specialists. Participation in the event will help APRNs: 1) Develop clinical skills and knowledge applicable to advanced practice nursing, and 2) Describe current and future trends impacting advanced practice nursing.

Pre-registration is required for access to the on-demand content.

Early-bird registration closes on April 1, 2024. Individuals are allowed to register after April 1st, but registration fees increase by $50.00. No registrations accepted after June 1, 2024.

On-Demand Site Opens: April 30th

A link to access the on-demand activity will be emailed to all pre-registered individuals the week of April 29th, so you can view the modules at your convenience, anytime, anywhere.


Refund/Cancellation Policy – Registration fees, less a $50.00 enrollment processing fee, will be refunded to registrants who cannot attend and notify the Missouri Nurses Association/Midwest MSD office in writing of the cancellation before April 1, 2024. No refunds will be made after April 1, 2024.


Disclosures

Successful Completion – Attendees must register, view the presentation recordings, complete an online verification of attendance form, noting the sessions they viewed, and complete an online conference evaluation to receive a certificate of completion. The link to the online evaluation is available on the on-demand site. 

Contact Hours – A total of 22.25 contact hours are available to those who meet the successful completion requirements. Contact hours will only be available to those who view the presentations before June 30, 2024.

Relevant Financial Relationships - The following planners and presenters identified financial relationships with ineligible companies:

  • Planner Helen Feldker is an investigator for the FINEARTS-HF clinical trial by Bayer AG. 
  • Speaker Kari Martin is a researcher for Eli Lilly and Regeneron.
  • Speaker Wendy Wright is on the speakers bureau and is a consultant for AbbVie, AstraZeneca, Exact Sciences, GlaxoSmithKline, Idorsia, Moderna, Merck, Novavax, Pfizer, Sanofi, Seqirus; and also serves as a consultant for Shield Therapeutics.

All relevant financial relationships for these individuals have been mitigated. No other relevant financial relationships were identified for any member of the planning committee or presenter/author


Accreditation

The Midwest Multistate Division is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

What is the Midwest Multistate Division? The Kansas State Nurses Association, Missouri Nurses Association and Nebraska Nurses Association formed a collaborative, namely the Midwest Multistate Division (Midwest MSD), with the goal of promoting efficiencies and growth. As part of this collaborative, the Midwest MSD Professional Development Unit (PD Unit) was formed, which is accredited as an ANCC approver and provider of NCPD, to address the educational needs of nurses in the Midwest region.

Those certified through AANP – Contact hours received through participation in this event are acceptable toward certification/recertification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Per the AANP guidelines, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is an acceptable, accredited and independent organization that provides advanced nursing CE content for NPs seeking renewal using continuing education credit.
